Great Exuma Engagement Session

A couple of months ago, I had the privilege of traveling to Great Exuma, Bahamas with my best friend, Amanda, to photograph Caitlin and Shaun’s engagement session and wedding. Both their wedding and engagement session was at the Grand Isle Resort and Spa. Caitlin and Shaun had approximately forty family and friends join them for their wedding week, and Gina with La Cosa Bella Events planned the perfect week leading up to their wedding day. Their first night was kicked off with an intimate dinner and a Junkanoo on the beach where both Caitlin’s dad and Shaun’s dad danced wildly by the bonfire.

The next day, we all set out on an adventure to Pig Island, and on the way, we stopped at Iguana Bay and also took a hike on a private island with amazing cliff views. My favorite part of the tour was definitely Pig Island. As our boat pulled up to this tiny island, all of these huge pigs came running out of the trees to meet us, some even swam to the boat. One of my favorite images of the week is of Caitlin and Shaun kissing with four pigs perfectly posed around them in the water. (I personally think they LOVE being photographed).

The entire week was an unbelievable experience, and I’m so grateful that Caitlin and Shaun invited us to be their wedding photographers. Below are some of my favorites from their engagement session and adventure day.
